Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and MKM Software ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of URL to QR, the free QR code generator at url-to-qr.com. By using it, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

The generator lets you create QR codes entirely in your browser, with no account and no data sent to a server (see our Privacy Policy for details).

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use URL to QR to create or encode content that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, or facilitates phishing, malware distribution, or scams
  • Infringes someone else's intellectual property or other legal rights
  • Harasses, defames, or threatens any person or group

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the data you encode into QR codes. You're solely responsible for that content and for having the right to link to it. We don't review it before it's encoded.

4. Service availability

The generator runs in your browser and doesn't depend on our servers being up. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MKM Software will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of — or inability to use — URL to QR, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MKM Software harmless from any claim, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

7. Termination of access

We may suspend or block access to the service for anyone we reasonably believe violates these Terms, including the acceptable use rules in Section 2. Sections 3, 5, and 6 survive any such action.

8. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of URL to QR after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
